Odisha-Jharkhand Ranji match shifted to Trivandrum

Odisha will play their eighth and last Group-B Ranji Trophy match against Jharkhand at St Xaviers College Ground in Trivandrum (Kerala) from December 15 to 18, 2016. Originally scheduled to be played at Chennai from December 7 to 10, the match shifted to Trivandrum due to uncertain situation in Chennai following the demise of Tamil Nadu Chief Minsiter J Jayalalitha. Odisha team will leave for Trivandrum on December 12.

Odisha are now placed third in the group table with 22 points from seven games. They need to beat Jharkhand to qualify for quarterfinals. Delhi are following Odisha at fourth place with 21 points but also have a good chance to beat Saurashtra in their last match.
